iPhone 3GS Lands To Day – Fanboys Leave Sidewalks

June 19th, 2009

The long expected iPhone 3GS, has finally landed. Houston, the Eagle is here. If I could, I would cue the sound of several million iPhone 3G who are cursing apple at the moment, but that aside, take a look at the launch day coverage to be had:

Smaller lines and waits: http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/19/iphone-3g-s-fizzles-out-for-global-retail/

CNet took on the pathetic task of live blogging the weak crowds: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-10268140-37.html

Technologizer got cold waiting for something to happen: http://technologizer.com/2009/06/19/iline-report-1-no-imadness-just-yet/

I suppose it is a bit comical that all of the coverage seems to be on the lack of a crowd, than the phone itself. These reports almost read like digests on the cult of mac around the world. I’m staying with my 3G iPhone, at least for another year. Then we’ll talk.
